Seacoast Outright


Advocacy, support, and education forgay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning, intersex, and allied (GLBTQIA) youth ages 12-24. Offers safe space for meeting, socialization, and mutual support.

Harriet Hancock LGBT Center


The center offers a welcoming and safe space, a free lending library, meeting spaces for LGBT-supportive groups, and a directory of LGBT-friendly businesses, organizations, and counselors. They also host the Youth Outlaid Resource Guide on their site.

Rhode Island LGBTQ Center

This organization is working in partnership with other LGBTQ organizations in Rhode Island to create a bricks-and-mortar center to promote and support the Rhode Island LGBTQ community. They plan to offer resources, a hub for community activity, a meeting place and learning center where one can find support and advocacy.

Rhode Island Pride


The organization creates opportunities for integrating and promoting visibility for the LGBTQ community; promotes equal rights and diversity through public education and the arts; and provides safe venues and opportunities for people to come out and celebrate their sexual identities. Events include presentations to organizations and businesses about LGBTQ issues, a film festival, art exhibits, and a pageant.

In Our Own Voices


Leadership training, advocacy, and social justice work on behalf of LGBTQ people of color and their communities. Services include support and social groups, trainings and workshops, and assistance with health, legal, and other issues.

SC Equality


This is a statewide non-partisan coalition of local and state social, religious, and political LGBTq organizations and allies with a mission to secure civil and human rights for LGBTQ South Carolinians.

LGBT Puerto Rico

This is an activist organization dedicated to the rights of LGBTQ people of Puerto Rico. They list events, ways to connect with others and to sign petitions. They also post a blog. Their issues include discrimination, bullying, adoption, and marriage.

Centro Comunitario LGBTT De PR


This center offer a cyber cafe, legal and psychosocial assistance, counseling and guidance, support groups, and conferences and talks. Its website offers lists of resources, an activity calendar, and a photo/event gallery.

Delta Foundation of Pittsburgh


This organization is committed to improving quality of life for LGBTQ individuals in Pittsburgh through visibility campaigns, events, and connections with national organizations who share their mission. They also connect LGBTQ people with social events.

Equality South Dakota

This organization is a statewide advocacy organization working for equality for all people with respect to their sexual orientation and gender identity. It has an institute and a political action committee and offers a resource guide, opportunities to volunteer, network, and advocate, and provides a list of "champion" employers on its site.

Q Center


This Portland-based center offers programs geared to LGBTQ who are disabled, parents and families, seniors, transgender individuals, and youth and young adults. It holds a number of affinity and support groups. The program engages in advocacy for fair housing, anti-violence initiatives, and other issues.

Gay/Lesbian Community Services of Southeast Minnesota

This volunteer organization provides educational, informational, and social resources to the LGBT communities, their family and friends, and other interested persons and allies. They work closely with LGBT-related groups, human and social service agencies, educational institutions, churches, and other organizations. They hold educational and social events, outreach and speaking engagements for local groups and organizations, and have a lending library of fiction and non-fiction materials. They provide coming-out resources as well as referrals to LGBTA counseling and area clergy. They have significant additional resource and contact materials to offer.

Unity Mississippi

Unity Mississippi is a resource organization that seeks to serve as a catalyst for statewide education, interaction, entertainment, community growth, visibility and awareness on behalf of the state's LGBTQ population. The organization promotes tolerance and acceptance of sexual minorities, increases public awareness of minority-related concerns, health-related concerns (specifically HIV/AIDS and substance abuse) and works to bridge the gap between the heterosexual and LGBT communities of the State of Mississippi.
