The organization promotes tolerance and acceptance of sexual minorities, increases public awareness of minority-related concerns, health-related concerns (specifically HIV/AIDS and substance abuse) and works to bridge the gap between the heterosexual and LGBT communities of the State of Mississippi.

They work on these goals through education, public policy advocacy, and political action. They have chapters in the Central Plains, Flint Hills, Hutchinson, Lawrence-Douglas Count, Metro Kansas City, North Central, Northwest, South Central, Southeast, Southwest, and Topeka.

The Center of Wichita

The center focuses on securing resources and educational opportunities for Wichita's LGBTQA youth. It provides a central meeting space for organizations and people interested in LGBTQ awareness. It's Get Connected program serves teens aged 13-18. There is a "helpful numbers" page on the site.

OneIowa: Equality for LGBT Iowans

This organization works for LGBTQ rights within the judicial system. It engages on other issues, including: AIDS and HIV in Iowa; safe communities for LGBTQ youth, dialogue between the police and LGBTQ community; addressing the needs and concerns of Iowa's aging and elder LGBT populations, promoting health and wellness, defending marriage equality through grassroots education; improving access to resources for transgender Iowans; and engaging in civil dialogue around LGBT equality.
