Families Together, Inc.

Serving families of children and youth with disabilities and/or special health care needs from birth through 21 years old. Families Together assists parents and their sons and daughters with disabilities. Their mission is to encourage, educate, and empower families to be effective advocates for their own children.

ChildServe

ChildServe partners with families to help children with special health care needs live a great life. They provide specialized pediatric health care services to more than 2,500 children in Iowa. Through the support of private insurance, public funds, and the generosity of donors, ChildServe offers accessible, family-centered care unique to each child’s needs, hopes, and dreams.

ASK (Access for Special Kids) Resource Center

ASK (Access for Special Kids) Resource Center is a parent training, information, and advocacy center for families of children with special needs across the state of Iowa.

IN*SOURCE

The mission of IN*SOURCE is to provide parents, families and service providers in Indiana the information and training necessary to assure effective educational programs and appropriate services for children and young adults with disabilities.

Family Voices Indiana

Family Voices aims to achieve family-centered care for all children and youth with special health care needs and/or disabilities. Through this national network, Family Voices provides families tools to make informed decisions, advocates for improved public and private policies, builds partnerships among professionals and families, and serves as a trusted resource on health care.

About Special Kids (ASK)

Parent to Parent organization that works throughout the state to give support, answer questions and provide information and resources to families of children with special needs. ASK has a parent liaison in each region of the state with our central office location in Indianapolis.

The Arc of Illinois

Community-based organization advocating for and serving people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families. They encompass all ages and all spectra from autism, Down syndrome, Fragile X and various other developmental disabilities.

Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago (RIC)

The LIFE Center provides resources to parents and adolescents including: local, regional, national, and international community resources, government programs, and condition–specific organizations for life long needs of people with disabilities. LIFE Educators are available by phone or online. The center serves as the largest source of information for people with disabilities in the world.
