The Maine Parent Federation, Inc. (MPF)

A statewide organization that provides information, advocacy, education, and training to benefit all children. Provides information, referral, one on one telephone support, and training to parents of children with disabilities or special health care needs and the professionals who work with these families statewide at no cost to parents.

Families Helping Families of Baton Rouge

A non-profit, family directed resource center for individuals with disabilities and their families. It is a place where families can go that is directed and staffed by parents or family members of children with disabilities or adults with disabilities. It is this common experience that gives Families Helping Families a very unique approach to serving families. FHF of Greater Baton Rouge offers these benefits: information and referral education; training parent to parent support

Bayou Land Families Helping Families

A non-profit family resource center. They are a group of families who, through our own experiences, promote peer support and advocacy and are committed to alleviating hardships of other families who have members with disabilities or special needs.

Kentucky Commission for Children with Special Health Care Needs

Offers access to medical care and services for children and youth up to age 21 with disabilities or complex medical conditions. Services include hospitalization, surgery, dental care, care coordination, physical therapy, lab services, medication and non-emergency medical transportation.

KY-SPIN (Kentucky Special Parent Involvement Network),

Works statewide to empower and support individuals with disabilities and their families to effectively advocate for and access needed information, resources and support networks in order to enhance the quality of their lives.

Heartspring, Inc.

Provides a wide range of services and therapies through several programs, including the Heartspring School and Heartspring Pediatric Services. The Heartspring School is a therapeutic residential and day school program for children with severe developmental disabilities. Additionally, the Heartspring School offers training and consultation services to parents and professionals.

TARC

Provides comprehensive supports for infants and toddlers with developmental delays and to their families at no cost. Services are provided based on the children and families' needs.

Families Together, Inc.

Serving families of children and youth with disabilities and/or special health care needs from birth through 21 years old. Families Together assists parents and their sons and daughters with disabilities. Their mission is to encourage, educate, and empower families to be effective advocates for their own children.
