Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago (RIC)

The LIFE Center provides resources to parents and adolescents including: local, regional, national, and international community resources, government programs, and condition–specific organizations for life long needs of people with disabilities. LIFE Educators are available by phone or online. The center serves as the largest source of information for people with disabilities in the world.

The Arc of Illinois

Community-based organization advocating for and serving people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families. They encompass all ages and all spectra from autism, Down syndrome, Fragile X and various other developmental disabilities.

Mississippi Parent Training and Information Center (MSPTI)

Helps teach about rights and responsibilities under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), make informed decisions about your child's Individualized Education Program (IEP), obtain appropriate services for your child; Serving the entire state, their Parent Advisors are located in 5 geographical regions, serving specific counties.

Parents, Let’s Unite for Kids (PLUK)

Parents, Let's Unite for Kids provides information, support, training, and assistance to aid children at home, school, and as adults.

Family Voices of Minnesota

Family Voices of Minnesota aims to achieve family-centered care for all children and youth with special health care needs and/or disabilities. They provide families tools to make informed decisions, advocate for improved public and private policies, build partnerships among professionals and families, and serve as a trusted resource on health care.

The Parent Information Center (PIC)

The Parent Information Center (PIC) is a recognized leader in building strong family/school partnerships. PIC provides information, support, and educational programs for parents, family members, educators, and the community. PIC is a pioneer in promoting effective parent involvement in the special education process.

Parents Reaching Out

A statewide nonprofit organization that works with parents, caregivers, educators and other professionals to enhance positive outcomes for families and children with disabilities. Parents Reaching Out achieves this by developing family leadership, connecting families to each other, building collaborative partnerships and providing families knowledge and tools to enhance their power.

Parents Encouraging Parents (PEP)

Nevada's statewide parent information and training center for families who have children with disabilities. It offers information and referral, a lending library, quarterly newsletter, conflict resolution support, training workshops, advocacy and mentor support, and individual assistance.
