The Center of Wichita
The center focuses on securing resources and educational opportunities for Wichita's LGBTQA youth. It provides a central meeting space for organizations and people interested in LGBTQ awareness. It's Get Connected program serves teens aged 13-18. There is a "helpful numbers" page on the site.
Formerly the Kansas Equality Coalition, Equality Kansas's formed as a chapter-based grassroots organization. Its mission is to end discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity. They work on these goals through education, public policy advocacy, and political action. They have chapters in the Central Plains, Flint Hills, Hutchinson, Lawrence-Douglas Count, Metro Kansas City, North Central, Northwest, South Central, Southeast, Southwest, and Topeka.
