The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP) is a federal program that provides food commodities to distribution sites. Food pantries and prepared meal sites receive commodities and they are distributed with other foods. If you need food assistance, you may be eligible to receive food from food pantries, or prepared meals at meal sites.

Each month, people across Wisconsin get help from FoodShare. They are people of all ages who have a job but have low incomes, are living on small or fixed income, have lost their job, retired or are disabled and not able to work.

CAP Services, Inc. has been on the front-line of the war on poverty since 1966. CAP, a private, non-profit corporation, offers programs in Marquette, Outagamie, Portage, Waupaca, and Waushara counties. CAP Services is headquartered in Stevens Point, Wisconsin with offices in each of the five counties it serves. Nearly three dozen programs are offered by CAP Services through four departments to help people attain economic and emotional self-sufficiency.
