The Great Start Collaborative supports a Great Start Parent Coalition. It also offers on its site a parent resource directory, a list of early learning resources, and links to developmental screening, pregnancy and parenting classes, finding a preschool, and other resources.

Detroit Parent Network works with any parent or primary caregiver of a school-age child (ages 4-17) who lives in Detroit, Hamtramck and Highland Park. Its website has a calendar of events and a link to its newsletters. The network offers such programs as a parents anonymous group (a safe space to talk about being a parent), Project Graduation, trainings for parents on parenting tips and techniques, and connections to Parent Resource Centers that are in partnership with the Detroit Public Schools.
