The Parent Training and Information Center ensures that parents of children with disabilities receive training and information on their rights, responsibilities, and protections under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) in order to develop the skills necessary to cooperatively and effectively participate in planning and decision making relating to early intervention, educational, and transitional services.

Staff members extend aid to very low-income and homeless individuals and families through financial assistance, information, and referrals while offering individualized attention combined with understanding, compassion, and the knowledge that all people are worthy and deserving of kindness and love. The organization parent information resource center offers an array of best-practice parenting classes and host a fun and engaging parent support group. They also have a best-practice child sexual abuse prevention class.
