CHILD, Inc. offers free parental support classes, including Parenting Birth to Three; Children Come Without Instructions (basic course); Teens Come Without Instructions; Dad’s Parenting Class; and classes for Spanish speaking populations. There is also a family resource center which offers a variety of family focused programs and services including: after school youth programs, tutoring, literacy, parent education, specialized counseling for victims/children involved in domestic violence, food clubs, recreational activities, and other community based services.

It provides programs for those involved in domestic violence situations, especially children. Their goals include protecting victims and treating those responsible for acts of domestic violence. On their website, one can find information on emergency shelters for children, family support and parent education, specialized foster care, youth services, and domestic violence services and treatment programs.

Cap4Kids/Parent Handouts

Cap4Kids is a children's advocacy project that provides parents with handouts that describe social service agencies and how to reach them. These handouts may be printed from the website. Among them are handouts for child abuse, child care/respite care, literacy, physical health, pregnancy resources and infants, and teen resources.
