TheDCCenter for the LGBT Community
This center covers Maryland and Virginia. It offers programs for women, bisexuals, African Americans and Latinos, seniors, polyamorous, men, transgender individuals, Asian Pacific Americans, deaf and hard of hearing, youth, and genderqueer. It has a lending library, meeting spaces, and a cyber center.
Gay Community Center of Richmond
GCCR offers classes and discussion groups, services and advocacy for gay elders (SAGE), a diversity art gallery, and a grant program. It participate in the Central Virginia Rainbow Partnership.
Fairness West Virginia
Fairness engages in political action to end discrimination, advance transgender rights, increase visibility, and protect families.
Roanoke Diversity Center

This center serves the LGBTQ community in Roanoke by offering social events, educational opportunities, advocacy, health education and informal chat groups, formal counselor-led support groups, and on-line co-branded support groups in partnership with the National LGBT Cancer Network. They also hold an annual Diversity Summer Camp.

This organization offers an LGBTQ resource page with recommended learning tools, state and national hotlines and resources, disparity data and definitions of terms used to define the population, and a clickable map to link visitors to resources in their counties.

Rainbow Community Center
The center provides public education, visibility, and services "for, by, and about the rainbow community in North Central West Virginia." Their webpage has a list of services, a calendar, a newsletter, and other links. The center has a resource library and offers networking and socialization opportunities, coalition building, a visiblity proect, and consultant and advisory services, and advocacy services.
